There was some light relief for political journalists in the regular Tuesday briefings in the Assembly.
The leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, Kirsty Williams, was asked if she was supporting a previous Welsh party leader, Lembit Opik.
The former MP for Montgomeryshire is currently in the Australian jungle taking part in the ITV programme, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Kirsty Williams said she hasn’t exercised her right to a phone vote either in support of Mr Opik or otherwise. In fact she said she’s only half-watching it because it’s on TV when she’s otherwise occupied looking after her family.
But she did say maybe life in the House of Commons had gone some way to prepare her former leader for life in the jungle.
