A Welsh great-grandmother may be the World’s oldest Facebooker – at 103.

Just two months away from her 104th birthday, the family of young-at-heart Lillian beleives she is the oldest of more than 500 million Facebook users around the world.
Lillian said: “I love it – it is very exciting. It’s a wonderful way of finding out about things.
“But I must say it’s a dreadful waste of time. I’m sure there are lots of other things I should be doing rather than playing on a computer.”
The retired hotelier and businesswoman from Tenby, Pembrokeshire, surfs the net on an iPad with regular checks on her Facebook account.
She has more than 30 Facebook friends – and her most active one is her great grand-daughter Kaylee Lowe, 10.

The great-grandmother says she was 12 before her family had a radio.
“I think virtually everything has been invented during my time,” she muses.

Her grandson Steve set Lillian up with her Facebook account – and loaned her his his iPad to use.
Tenby RNLI mechanic Steve said: “Now and again, she might raise an eyebrow at a few of the teenage antics she sees on Facebook.
“But she’s pretty broad-shouldered and takes it all in her stride.
“What’s great about Gran is that she’s not afraid to take things on and is always willing to learn – she’s a great inspiration to us all.”
