South Wales Police has launched an investigation following the discovery of a body at Portland Street in Swansea at 4am on Friday 7 January.
Two men, aged 33 and 37, have been arrested in connection with the death.
They are currently in custody at police stations in Swansea and Bridgend.
Superintendent Phil Davies of Swansea Central Police Station said: “The public will notice a heightened police presence in and around Swansea City Centre which is part of the ongoing investigation.
“I would like to reassure the public that a full police investigation is underway and that two arrests have been made in connection with the incident.”
