The Cardiff Devils kept their championship hopes alive after winning a tense penalty shoot-out at the end of their match against the Nottingham Panthers.
A depleted Panthers side took an early lead in the first period but failed to maintain the advantage allowing the Devils to equalise 15 minutes later.
Despite valiant efforts from both teams, neither was able to capitalise on opportunities in the second and third periods, with the match tied at 1-all at the end of play.
Galbraith missed for the Panthers in the sudden death shoot-out allowing the home team to take the lead and win the match.
The Welsh side are now tied at the top of the league with rivals the Sheffield Steelers.
