Armed police called to Cardiff city centre incidents

South Wales Police say that armed officers have attended an incident in Cardiff City Centre after receiving a “threatening phone call”

A spokesperson for the force said that; “officers responding to a threatening telephone call have attended the Huggard Centre, Custom House Street in the centre of Cardiff.

“The premises have been cleared and are being searched. Armed officers are in attendance as a precaution.”

Police have also been called to a second separate incident involving a man on the roof of the Media Wales building.
