Ffion Wyn Roberts murder trial jury consider verdict

The jury in the trial of the man accused of murdering a careworker from Porthmadog has retired to consider its verdict.

Iestyn Davies, 54, of Porthmadog, Gwynedd, denies the murder of 22-year-old Ffion Wyn Roberts last year.

Mr Justice Lloyd-Jones sent jury members out today (Tuesday 12 April) a day after he warned them to keep cool heads in considering their verdict.

Ffion’s body was found in a drainage ditch at Porthmadog in April 2010.
